The right exercises…

Earlier, we have encouraged you to practice & maintain good posture, while at work, driving, using mobile devices, and other day-to-day activities. We have also discussed the effects of poor posture on our healthy lifestyle.

Today, being at home and working from home is even more challenging. Even in regular circumstances, we all slouch and strain our necks while working on the computer. Prolonged working hours, with very little movements in confined home settings, is causing (and it is rising in fact) enhanced neck pain (often time radiating to the arms or hands), mid-back pain, back pain, headaches, shoulder pain, and reduced concentration. Increased use of technology (smartphones, iPad, TVs, etc.) has made neck pain to be a prevalent musculoskeletal complaint.

Now, it has become the necessity to maintain the right posture to avoid any more unwanted pains. We will discuss postural correction in our upcoming posts as correcting the posture doesn’t happen in a day and it needs training.

For now, we are starting a common exercise program that will help us neutralize this negative effect.
