Our therapists constantly research the latest techniques and technologies to provide lasting relief from back pain, neck pain, sciatica, headaches and injuries. Our physical therapists work with patients to teach them specific exercise combinations to strengthen them and relieve their back pain and neck pain and teaching them taking care of themselves to prevent future recurrences.

We provide individualized assessment and care, initial evaluation of muscular strength, range of motion, flexibility, coordination/balance/proprioception and endurance. All our patients get home exercises to allow active participation and augment treatment. Exercise programs are developed by our therapist for each patient to achieve mutually decided goals after a comprehensive evaluation, hands-on manual treatment. We perform following physical therapy procedures:

Patient Treatment
  • Manual TherapyTouch was once considered crucial in speeding patients’ healing, and medical professionals used their hands to heal. Many have since abandoned these methods, either due to a lack of knowledge or unwillingness to expend the time and effort required. At Healing HandZ, we still provide this advanced form of healing. We believe in the power of expert touch in helping our patients enjoy their lives again and want them to receive the best treatment possible.

Spinal rehabilitation
  • Spinal rehabilitation: Spinal rehabilitation refers to treatments to the neck or back. With over 85% of Americans reporting some form of spine pain in their lifetime, back pain has become an epidemic. Because of the unique structures of the spine and special problems related to this area, specialized training is necessary to ensure appropriate treatment. Research shows the majority of problems are mechanical, relating to specific activities, postures, and habits of the patient's life style. Therefore a "mechanical" solution is necessary. We utilize Lumbar Stabilization Program McKenzie Program to identify movement patterns, positions, and activities that aggravate the condition as well as those that will decrease symptoms

Sports injury
  • Sports injury: Athletic injuries are essentially orthopedic injuries, which have a sport specific component. After the acute injury is resolved, we focus on regaining motion and strength to allow the athlete to return to play as quickly and safely as possible. Once this is achieved, we focus on preventing re-injuries through proper warm-up, sound training procedures and post-participation care.

Pre Op Therapy
  • Pre operative therapy:The procedures for which Pre operative rehabilitation ranges from back or shoulder surgery to joint replacements and tendon or ligament repair. Additionally, the often long wait for some surgeries can create a deterioration of some conditions, which can be prevented with therapy before the surgery. Physical therapy prior to surgery helps in speedy recovery post surgery.

Post Op Therapy
  • Post operative therapy: Utilizing a wide variety of techniques to improve strength, flexibility and mobility, and latest modalities. We work closely with surgeons and utilize protocols to get our patients back to functioning like before. We customize therapy as per patient’s set goals and provide one-on-one communication.

Electrical Modalities
