Healing HandZ Physical Therapy is committed to ensuring the safety and health of our employees, patients, and visitors.
We are taking the following measures to protect and ensure everybody's safety:
Healing HandZ will not perform procedures on patients known or suspected to have COVID-19 Coronavirus.
All patients coming to our offices should self-screen at home prior to arriving. Any patient with the following symptoms will not be seen in our office:
- Difficulty breathing
- Fever (over 100.0)
- Sore throat
- Cough
- Runny Nose
- Headache
There are no appointments CANCELLATION FEES for patients with such symptoms.
All patients will be verbally screened for symptoms by a scheduler when calling to make an appointment.
Although we are sanitizing the table/equipment (using hospital-grade sanitizers) after each patient use, we recommend that you bring your own wipes and sanitizers as an additional precaution.
Please come alone for your appointments if possible. Only one helper per patient is allowed to accompany the patient and that too up to lobby only. None other than the patient will be allowed in the patient's area.
Bathroom use is limited to patients only.
Although we are sanitizing electronic modalities after each use, we recommend you purchase your own set of electrodes and bring it with you as an extra safety. Ask the front desk admin for more information.
We encourage all patients and visitors to take these everyday preventive actions:
- Avoid contact with those who are sick
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth
- Stay home when you are sick
- Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using cleaning sprays or wipes
- Use alcohol-based hand sanitizer
- Frequently wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
