Jose is a warm, caring physical therapist with 33 years of clinical experience. He has worked in acute care, subacute, skilled nursing facilities and private home care. Jose has worked in JFK and Hackensack Medical Centers within their Head Trauma and Rehabilitation facilities. He has treated patients in all levels of coma, patients with neurological deficits such as stroke victims, parkinson's disease and multiple sclerosis. Jose worked closely with amputees during their prosthetic and ambulation training. He is a certified school physical therapist by the NJ Board of Education and has worked with children for more than 7 years in two schools and at Children's Specialized Hospital in Mountainside. Certified in Work Steps testing, Jose has also developed pool exercise programs and provided Aqua Therapy when he worked at Physical Therapy Sports Rehab in Woodbridge. Jose's greatest passion is outpatient sports medicine orthopedics. He has excellent clinical and manual skills. He shows great compassion to all his patients and believes in the quote "I don't care how much you know until I know how much you care." Jose currently assists in teaching in continuing education seminars teaching other therapists advanced manual treatment techniques.
