Cinnamon Tea
Ingredients:
- 4-5 cm long average Cinnamon stick (do not use Cinnamon powder)
- 300 ml of regular water
- Sugar to taste
How to prepare Cinnamon Tea?
This is the simplest tea you’d ever make. Put a tea pan with water in it on high heat. Crush Cinnamon stick into tiny pieces. Do not make a powder out of it. Now, add it to the hot water. Cover the pan with a lid. Let it boil for 2 minutes on high heat. Now lower the heat to medium-low, remove the lid, and let it boil for another 10 minutes or until half the water evaporates. Filter it and enjoy it hot. You may add a pinch of sugar if you’d like but you will like it otherwise also.
Things to remember:
For great results as we discussed above:
- prepare this tea just before going to bed
- turn-off and disconnect all your screens (TV, phones, tablets, etc.) at least one hour before
- keep the light in the room to a minimum (turn-off all bright lights)
- no self-talking (absolutely not) or talking to others, just watch things around you
- some light music (or sleep music) will be helpful while you are sipping your tea
- leave your worries/planning for the next day (life is not over yet!)
- go to sleep right after you finish your tea
People who have insomnia, anxiety, high blood pressure, diabetics, memory loss (especially short-term), balance issues, issues with staying focused, and many more such conditions, will benefit great times with this simple tea. The ingredients of which are already lying in your kitchen. Why not try it out tonight? I am sure you’ll amaze yourself with the results.
