Some Facts (about Alfalfa): Alfalfa is rich in chlorophyll, carotene, protein, calcium and other minerals, vitamins in the B group, vitamin C, vitamin D, vitamin E, and vitamin K. The sun-dried hay of alfalfa has been found to be a source of vitamin D, containing 48 ng/g (1920 IU/kg) vitamin D2 and 0.63 ng/g (25 IU/kg) vitamin D3. Ingredients: – 2 oranges, peeled – 2 stalks celery – 1 bulb fennel – 1 cup alfalfa sprouts – 1-2 fennel ferns
Preperation: (Makes 2 Servings) 1. Juice oranges, celery, fennel and alfalfa sprouts. Stir 2. You may garnish it with fennel ferns
